Anbaalaya Chithirai Thiruvizha 2025

To honor and celebrate Anbaalaya publications and the deities of Anbaalaya, several competitions and events are set to take place throughout the month of Chithirai.

In these competitions and events, disciples who have performed the Atma Linga Pooja can participate as 12 separate teams, and devotees who have not performed the Linga Pooja can participate as a single team (Sri Brahmar Team), making a total of 13 teams.

  1. Aadhi Maha Ganapathi Team

  2. Sri Agathiya Maharishi Team

  3. SivaShakthi Team

  4. Aadhi Maha Saraswathi Team

  5. Sri Ezhumalaiyan Team

  6. Thiru Annamalaiyar Team

  7. Sri Gnana Anjaneyar (Hanuman) Team

  8. Sri Krishna Paramatma Team

  9. Sri Hayagrivar Team

  10. Sri Harihara Ayyappan Team

  11. Sri Kaala Bhairavar Team

  12. Twelve Divine Beings Team

  13. Sri Brahmar Team

That is, if a speech competition is conducted, participants must take part on behalf of a team rather than as individuals. For example, someone belonging to the Sri Krishna Team can participate representing that team. The competitions and events will take place between the teams.

At the end of all the competitions and events held during the Chithirai Festival, "prizes will be awarded in the following manner to participants from the top two winning teams, provided they have taken part in more than 4 competitions"

“To encourage individual contributions to their respective teams, prizes will be awarded to the top 3 participants who score the highest total marks across all the competitions they participated in on behalf of their team.”

1. Mantra Chanting Challenge

Start Date:  April 14 

  • Every day at a specific time in the morning, after collectively performing the Atma Gayatri mantra chanting along with their team members (through an online meeting), everyone should do a 21-minute Rajamudra meditation." 

  • The number of participants joining the chanting session and meditation each day will be monitored and recorded.

  • A participant will be considered eligible for scoring in this competition only if they have taken part in the mantra chanting for at least 21 days.

  • At the end of the 30-day period, the winning team will be announced based on the total number of participant attendances recorded throughout the month.


2. Thirignanam Reading Challenge

Start Date:  April 14 

Every day at a designated time, all members of a team must gather together in an online meeting where one person reads a chapter from the Thirignanam book while the others listen.

Only those who read at least one full chapter will be considered as participants in this competition and will be awarded points accordingly.

Each chapter must be read by a different member of the team.

After all the chapters have been read, the winning team will be determined based on:

  • the number of unique individuals who read the chapters, and

  • the total number of participants who consistently joined as listeners during the sessions.

3. Spiritual Quiz  

Competition Day: April 26 

  • An online quiz competition will be conducted based on the 48-day Atma Gayatri Nombu Discourses released by Anbaalaya in 2023 and 2024.

  • Those who wish to participate must form a team of three members to enter the competition.

  • The quiz will be conducted simultaneously for all teams, across all divine teams, through the official online platform.

  • Each divine team may have multiple groups participating in the quiz.

  • The team that scores the highest marks will be declared the winning team.


4. Mantra Mahima  - Highlighting the power of Atma Gayathiri Mantra 

Competition Day: April 27

Over the past two years, Sadguru Agathiya Maharishis have blessed us with profound Atma Gayatri Nombu Discourses. Based on these teachings, participants are required to prepare and present a PowerPoint presentation (with a minimum of 10 slides) explaining the benefits of the Atma Gayatri Mantra.

Participants must select any one of the topics listed below and form a team of three members from their respective divine team to take part in this competition.

Each divine team may send more than one team to participate in this event.

The team that secures the highest score will be declared the winning team.

  2. Atma Gayatri Mantra for Enhancing Financial Prosperity

  3. Atma Gayatri Mantra for Business Growth

  5. Atma Gayatri Mantra for Reducing Mental Stress

  6. Atma Gayatri Mantra for Protecting Family Well-being

  7. Atma Gayatri Mantra for Inner Peace

5. Text to Treasure contest

Submission deadline: May 14

Participants are required to collect unique and meaningful quotes from the published works of Anbalaya released so far.

The collected quotes must be standalone in nature, meaning:

  • Each quote should be clear and impactful on its own, without needing context from another sentence or paragraph to be understood.

  • They should not depend on prior knowledge of another statement to make sense.

More than one person from a divine team can take part in this competition.

The team that collects the most distinctive and meaningful quotes will be declared the winning team.

6. Personal Transformation Essay Contest  

Submission deadline: May 14

Participants are required to write and submit an essay of no less than 1000 words describing their personal experiences gained through following Anbaalayam up to this point.

  • More than one person from a divine team can participate in this competition.

  • Essays must be submitted in PDF format to the email address: info.anbaalayam@gmail.com.

  • Participants must clearly mention their name and team name in the submission.

Judging will be based on:

  • The number of participants from each team, and

  • The authenticity and depth of the personal experiences shared in the essays.

The team with the highest overall score will be announced as the winning team.


7. Constructive Feedback Letter (Mottai Kadidasi)  

Submission deadline: May 14

Participants are invited to write a constructive and insightful letter identifying any practices or behaviors within Anbalayam and its supporting body of Sadguru Agathiya Maharishi’s sevaks that they believe may be hindering progress or effectiveness.

The purpose of the letter is to help Anbalayam enhance its operational efficiency by eliminating ineffective methods and improving overall functionality.

  • Participants must write from the perspective of their divine team without including their personal name.

  • Multiple individuals from the same divine team may participate in this competition.

  • Letters that offer genuine and thoughtful suggestions will receive higher marks, and the team with the best submission will be declared the winning team.

8. Satsang 

Competition Day: May 4th 

Participants are required to conduct a Satsang (spiritual discourse) through an online meeting on one of the following two topics:

  1. Divine Service (Iraippani)

  2. Core Teachings of the Deity Represented by Their Team

  • More than one person from a divine team may participate in this event.

  • The satsang must be presented in a clear, engaging, and authentic manner, without altering the essence of Anbalayam’s teachings.

Judging will be based on the following criteria:

  • Speaking skills and clarity of communication

  • Ability to engage and captivate the audience

  • Accuracy in conveying Anbalayam’s true message

  • Use of meaningful and relatable examples

9. Kaliyuga Sasthiram - Cover Page Design Contest 

Submission deadline: May 14

Participants are invited to design the cover page for Anbaalayam’s upcoming divine release, the sacred book titled:


“Kaliyuga Shastram” – Revealed by Sri Krishna Paramatma.

The cover design must visually capture the essence of the following two contrasting realms:

🕉️ Satya Yuga

  • Depicted as the peak of a mountain,

  • Where people live in deep harmony with nature,

  • Embracing states of meditation and spiritual awakening,

  • Radiating peace as liberated souls (mukta atmas).

🔥 Kali Yuga

  • Shown as below the surface of the earth, in the netherworld (paataal),

  • Populated by humans living in isolation,

  • Relying heavily on advanced machines and artificial systems,

  • Deprived of natural sunlight or divine solar energy.


  • Multiple participants from a single divine team can take part.

  • Designs must convey the spiritual depth and symbolic contrast between these two eras.

  • The team that submits the most visually powerful and conceptually accurate cover design will be declared the winning team.

10. Virtual Pilgrimage Contest

Submission deadline: May 14

Participants are required to submit a written document that includes detailed information on the temple deities who have delivered divine discourses (Arulurai) through Anbaalayam so far.

✍️ Your Submission Should Include:

  1. List of Temple Deities

    • Mention which temple deities have provided Arulurai through Anbalayam.

  2. Temple History

    • Provide a brief history of each corresponding temple:

      • How it originated

      • Its spiritual significance

      • Any special legends or uniqueness associated with the deity

  3. Key Message of the Arulurai

    • Highlight the main spiritual or transformational message that each deity conveyed through their Arulurai.

  • Multiple participants from a single divine team can work together on this.

  • Submissions will be judged on:

    • The depth and authenticity of content

    • Clarity and flow of presentation

    • How well the spiritual essence of the messages is captured


11. Idea Pitch: Spreading the Message (Outreach Strategy Brainstorming)

Competition Day: May 11th

Participants are invited to create a PowerPoint presentation on the topic:

"Low-Cost Strategies to Raise Awareness About Anbaalayam Among the Public"


💡 Presentation Focus:

  1. Cost-Effective Methods

    • Suggest practical and innovative low-budget ways to spread awareness about Anbaalayam.

    • Focus on maximum outreach with minimal resources.

  2. Use of Limited Resources

    • Propose strategies or campaigns that can be implemented using available or limited means (e.g., volunteers, social media, existing networks).

  3. New Ideas & Creative Projects

    • Suggest fresh, doable ideas tailored for the Anbaalayam mission.

    • Ideas can include both offline and online modes of outreach.

  4. Successful Case Studies (Optional)

    • Reference successful organizations or spiritual movements that grew through similar low-cost awareness campaigns.

👥 Team Composition:

  • Each team must have 3 members.

  • More than one team of 3 members each can participate from the same divine group.


🏆 Evaluation Criteria:

  • Depth of analysis and research

  • Relevance and creativity of ideas

  • Visual clarity and professionalism of the slides

  • Feasibility of the proposed strategies

12. Translation Challenge  

Submission deadline: May 14

  • Participants are invited to translate the sacred text "Thirignanam" as given by Annai Sarada Devi into any alternate language in which they are highly proficient.

  • Members belonging to the same divine team may discuss among themselves and form a group of three interested participants to take up the translation work.

  • More than one team can participate from the same divine group.

  • Participants from a single divine group may also choose to translate into more than one language.

  • The team that produces the most accurate and error-free translation will be declared the winning team.


13. Action Plan Development contest

Competition Day: May 18th 

📜 Divine Action Plan Submission – Project Guidelines

As guided by Sadguru Agathiya Maharishis, loving souls who have united under the 12 divine teams to carry out divine service must research and submit an action plan focused on their team deity’s primary mission.

🛠️ Team Task:

Each team must select and research the specific field assigned to their deity and submit a comprehensive action plan based on their study.

  • The action plan report must be at least 2000 words in length.

  • Teams must visit relevant field locations and collect real-time data and insights.

  • A PowerPoint presentation must be created and submitted to explain the report clearly.


  • 👥 Team Format:

  • Each team must consist of 3 members.

  • More than one team from the same divine group is allowed to participate.


  • 📊 Evaluation:

  • Teams that submit:

  • Detailed field-based research,

  • Practical and innovative proposals, and

  • A clear, well-designed presentation
    will be awarded the highest scores and declared winners.


  • 📌 Assigned Topics (One for Each Divine Team):

  • Ezhumalaiyan Team – Herbal Medicine Production Unit (minimum 10 herbal products).

  • Krishna Team – Goshala (Cow Shelter) with at least 100 cows.

  • Anjaneya Team – Old Age Home accommodating at least 100 residents.

  • Ayyappa Team – Anna Chatram capable of serving 500 meals a day.

  • Ganapathi Team – Online store inventory and logistics division.

  • Saraswati Team – Publishing and printing facilities.

  • Hayagreeva Team – Copper casting and molding production unit.

  • Kala Bhairava Team – Meditation center on at least 10 acres of land.

  • Sivasakthi Team – Rasamani or Kuligai production unit.

  • Annamalaiyar Team – Mobile application-based service system.

  • Agathiyar Team – Temple on at least 2 acres of land.

  • 12 Divine Team – Spiritual ashram on a minimum of 10 acres.

  • Brahmar Team – Can choose  meditation center, temple, or ashram.
